Acceptance

By using Family OS, you agree to these terms. Family OS is a private family document vault and financial dashboard. Access is by invitation only — the family owner controls who can join.

Your Data

You own your data. Family OS stores it on your behalf but does not claim ownership. We do not sell, share, or monetize your information. Each family's data is isolated and inaccessible to other families.

Account Roles

Owners have full access to manage family data, invite members, and configure settings. Members can view and edit data. Viewers and legacy accounts have read-only access. The owner is responsible for managing who has access.

Text Message Terms

By opting in to text reminders, you consent to receive SMS messages from Family OS at the phone number you provide. Messages include calendar reminders, event notifications, and responses to text commands you send. Message frequency varies based on your settings. Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out, reply STOP to any message or disable text reminders in Settings → Notification Preferences. For help, reply HELP or email support@familyos.solutions.

SMS Opt-In Process

Users opt in to text messages through their account settings by checking a consent checkbox. Only authenticated family members with accounts can enable text notifications.

Acceptable Use

Family OS is intended for personal family use — managing documents, finances, contacts, and calendars. Do not use it to store illegal content or to send unsolicited messages to people outside your family.

Limitation of Liability

Family OS is provided as-is. We do our best to keep your data safe and the service running, but we are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content. Back up important documents independently.
